The city streets were refreshingly empty and surreal on an early Saturday morning in chilly December. With all the college students away for winter break, Washington Square Park, surrounded by NYU buildings and dorms, was particularly deserted. Erika and Andrei arrived around 7:30 am, stepping out of their Uber to meet me at the iconic Washington Square Arch. Erika looked stunning in a black velvet romper, while Andrei sported a tuxedo with a “purposely” undone bowtie, creating that effortlessly cool rockstar look for the morning.
Together, we ventured through the chilly, deserted streets of Greenwich Village, making our way to Bond Street and concluding the engagement session in the vibrant East Village by the cube. Along the way, we spontaneously paused at corners, benches, and in front of unique buildings, capturing the essence of their love against the backdrop of the city.
Erika and Andrei’s engagement session in Greenwich Village was truly delightful, and I find myself eagerly anticipating their wedding next year at The Box House Hotel in Brooklyn—a venue that has long been on my bucket list.
