It’s been almost three months since I photographed Aleks & Mark’s wedding at Bear Brook Valley, but I still remember it all so vividly—their smiles, the happy tears, the excitement, and that incredible feeling of finally getting to marry each other.
I met Katie & Derek a few years ago at our neighborhood block yard sale. They were visiting Derek’s parents and helping out, and somehow between the yard sale chaos, we got to chatting and discovered that Derek’s dad is a photographer too!
So when the time came for Katie & Derek to get married, I was SO happy when they reached out and even happier that I was available to be there to document it.
These two sweetest souls tied the knot this past weekend at Forest Lodge in Warren, NJ, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better day or better people to spend it with.
I’ve seen A LOT of first dances in my career… but Kim & Justin just raised the bar! These two are the definition of adorable. The giggles, the smiles, the way they looked at each other, you could just FEEL how genuine and sincere their love is.
And Kim’s smile?! Absolutely contagious!
