Hyatt Regency Jersey City, NJ Wedding | Priya + Xavier

I first crossed paths with Xavier a few years back at Danny and Andy’s wedding, where he stood as one of the groomsmen at The Coach House at Ryland Inn in 2021. When Xavier and Priya’s own wedding day approached, I was deeply honored that he remembered me and reached out to discuss capturing their special day.

Meeting Priya and Xavier together during their engagement session in Princeton, NJ was an essential part of my process. It allowed me to delve into their personalities and witness the beautiful chemistry they shared. Engagements sessions, for me, serve as a cornerstone in establishing a genuine connection with my couples before the main event.

Priya and Xavier both started the wedding day at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, a venue boasting panoramic views of the Hudson River and the iconic Manhattan skyline. Against this breathtaking backdrop, they readied themselves, shared a heartwarming first look along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, then shortly after Priya and Xavier’s family and friends joined them for photos.

As Priya watched from a balcony, Xavier’s Baraat procession unfolded below, a lively affair marked by music, drums, and joyous celebrations. Following the Baraat wedding guests ascended to the wedding ceremony room at the Hyatt Regency, where a beautifully adorned Mandap awaited their union.

The cocktail hour tantalized guests with an array of delicious Indian cuisine, setting the stage for the grand entrance into the candlelit reception hall. Priya and Xavier stepped in, resplendent in their evening attire, launching into their first dance. This was followed by the traditional Filipino money dance,

Throughout the evening, dance performances, heartfelt parent dances, and touching speeches filled the air with love and laughter. Priya and Xavier’s faces radiated with pure joy, reflecting the love that enveloped them on their special day.
