Washington Mews, NY Engagement | Renee + Sam

Renee, Sam and I fully enjoyed the empty & quiet Washington Mews morning. Washington Mews in Greenwich Village and next to Washington Square Park is a true gem in this concrete jungle. Charming gated cobble stone street with lines of two story carriage houses, Washington Mews is an iconic neighborhood. Renee and Sam walked up and down the cobble stone street of Washington Mews during the engagement session while appreciating each and every element of this beautiful neighborhood.

Washington Square Park along with University St as well as Washington Mews were all very quiet and empty Saturday morning. Unusually empty and that is when I realized NYU along with all colleges/universities were out for the summer which means all the students left NYC for the summer. Also meant we had the luxury of having the whole Washington Mews to ourselves during Renee and Sam's engagement session. We walked up and down the cobble stone street of Washington Mews choosing which backdrop, which colorful brick wall and which rustic door we liked best. Roses and green vines covered the walls of Washington Mews making us feel like as if we were in streets of Europe. Washington Mews is truly a gem in this concrete jungle called Manhattan.
